The snow whitens my eyelashes like
a cool border around a memoir.
Eyes closed,
my outer shell takes it all in speaking,
I have forgiven you for being less than I wanted.
My muse celebrates a winters breeze
sedating the old haunting abysmal of,
my
I
remember you.
The motionless landscape then turns the air,
"Where will you go now?"
My path is marked by hope,
heavily plowed by rain
I will walk where the snow falls.

The music was fine; didn't skip for me. Very pretty, too!
Merry
Your muse flows easily, and now to music! Sounds great... didn't hear a skip. It stops when I leave a comment. No sadness in this... adding music, that is. Was it hard to do? Can you tell me how? Bea
The poetry was great but I didn't hear any music. Darn
Julie
This one is particularly beautiful and I LOVE the music. Soooo serene and joyful =D!! Love you, Raven! xox

" The poets mind is in fact a receptacle for seizing and storing up numberless feelings, phrases, images, which remain there until all the particles which can unite to form a new compound are present together." T.S. Eliot
When I read your comment I held my breath in anticipation while I clicked your link. I was not disappointed. I care not about structure, nor format when looking for poetry and words that interests me. What I do search, seek, and hunt for is words that can splinter in many directions, evokes emotion and thought in my mind and I find relation within. Some call it stream of conscious, some call it poetry. When reading words such as yours, I call it embarking on a journey and discovering a puzzle wrapped up for my mind to unravel.
Traditional is for those willing to follow. I think you and I would never fit into that category!

You are the only one I've ever showed this little link, something I've ignored far too long, but here goes........examples in non-traditional by Moi

Raven, I stand in awe of your prose. I didn't know you had this journal also. I'm devouring all seven. Of course, I can't hear the music. Boggles my mind because I never had that problem before. Chris
LOL...I lied. I turned the speakers off last night because my foolish dog was flipping out and barking at the pc. Love the music....so soothing. Too bad the mind is the first thing to go. Chris
